About the Event

The second Belgian Science for Climate Action Conference will take place on 17–18 March 2026 at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts, Auditorium 490, Brussels. This fully in-person event will assemble Belgian scientists alongside policymakers, businesses, the media, and key stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

The programme features a blend of scientific presentations and stakeholder-focused panels designed to foster broad societal dialogue and deepen understanding of the challenges and socio-economic implications of Belgium’s transition to climate neutrality. Up-to-date scientific insights, fresh strategies, and innovative approaches will inform discussion on vital questions, including:

  • What are the challenges of decarbonisation in Belgium?

  • What are the most effective technological and socio-economic solutions to achieve a just, resilient, climate-neutral society?

  • How can decarbonisation be accelerated across all sectors?
