Presenter: Diana Tzvetkov (IRM)

Biography: Diana is a PhD candidate at the University of Ghent in the Department of Physics and Astronomy since 2025 and a research assistant at the Royal Meteorological Institute since 2024. In her current research, she develops climate datasets, including one covering the Belgian territory and extending back to 1900. She also explores weather measurement systems in non-standard environments such as cities and forests. Prior to this, she obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Gembloux. There, her specialisation focused on applying new mathematical tools to eddy covariance data, key to greenhouse gas monitoring systems.
