The Belgian Climate Centre (BCC) is recruiting a Project and Administrative Officer (m/f/x) to join its team in Uccle, Brussels. This is a contractual position open to Dutch-speaking candidates holding a Master's degree.
The successful candidate will support the BCC team and management across a broad range of organisational and administrative tasks, including meeting coordination and event planning, document preparation, budget follow-up, procurement cycle management (quotations and purchase orders), and operational project support. The role also involves running the BCC secretariat — managing the general mailbox, liaising with stakeholders, and organising and following up on Steering Committee and Scientific Committee meetings.
A good command of French and English, as well as proficiency in Office 365, are considered strong assets.
The BCC is a department of the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI), a Federal Scientific Institution under the Belgian Science Policy Office (Belspo). It was established in 2021 to strengthen scientific research on climate and climate transition in Belgium and serves as a contact point for organisations, policymakers and citizens on a wide range of climate-related services.
The workplace is located at the RMI site, Ringlaan 3, 1180 Brussels.
Deadline for applications: 20 April 2026
